Factions P2E Guide

Everything you need to know about playing Minecraft Factions, building vaults, boosting your multiplier, and earning real money.

Overview

Columbus P2E is a Minecraft Factions server where factions compete for the #1 spot on a value leaderboard. The faction with the highest "effective vault value" earns real money from a prize pool every 5 minutes.

Vault value is based on physical items stored in designated chests — which can be raided by other factions. This means wealth exists physically in-game and can be stolen at any time.

How a typical game loop works:
  1. Players form or join factions (max 15 members)
  2. Factions claim territory and build bases
  3. Factions designate vault chests in their territory
  4. Gather valuable items and store them in vaults
  5. Every 5 min: vault values scanned, leaderboard updated
  6. Top faction(s) earn payout from prize pool
  7. Other factions can raid vaults with TNT cannons
  8. Stolen items = stolen value = leaderboard shakeup

Getting Started

1

Create an Account

Sign up on this website — completely free, no credit card required.

2

Download the Desktop App

Install the lightweight desktop app. It runs AI prompts in the background to power your multiplier.

3

Connect AI Accounts

Sign into your AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) within the desktop app. Set your daily prompt allowance per platform. Free accounts work too.

4

Link Your Minecraft Account

Join the Minecraft server and run /pwlink to get a linking code. Enter it in your dashboard to connect your Minecraft account.

5

Join a Faction & Play

Create your own faction or join an existing one. Build your base, fill your vault, and start competing for the leaderboard.

Factions

Factions are teams of players who share territory, vaults, and earnings. You can play solo or with up to 15 members.

Faction Rules

Minimum members1 (solo allowed)

Territory & Claims

Standard Factions claiming system:

  • Each player has power (max 10, regenerates over time)
  • Faction power = sum of all members' power
  • You can claim chunks up to your faction's total power
  • Dying loses power — if power drops below claims, outer claims become vulnerable
  • Claimed territory protects blocks from breaking by hand/tools
  • TNT explosions can damage blocks in claims (this is how raiding works)

Payout Distribution

The faction leader configures how earnings are split among members:

/f payout equal — Split equally among all members
/f payout online — Split among online members only
/f payout rank — Officers get a larger share
/f payout custom — Custom percentages per member

Default: equal split among all members.

Vault System

Vaults are designated chests where your faction stores valuable items. The total in-game point value of items in your vaults determines your leaderboard position — and leaderboard position determines who earns real money.

Registering Vaults

Any chest in your claimed territory can be registered as a vault:

/f vault add — Register the chest you're looking at
/f vault remove — Unregister a vault chest
/f vault list — Show all vault locations

Item Values

Only items with assigned point values count toward your vault total. These in-game values determine your leaderboard rank.

Tier 1 — Common
Coal Block0.005 pts
Iron Block0.01 pts
Redstone Block0.01 pts
Lapis Block0.01 pts

Vault Scanning

Every 5 minutes, the system automatically:

  1. Scans all registered vault chests for each faction
  2. Sums item values to calculate Base Vault Value
  3. Applies the faction multiplier to get Effective Value
  4. Updates the leaderboard rankings
  5. Top faction(s) receive their payout

Effective Value = Base Vault Value × Faction Multiplier

The higher your effective value, the higher your leaderboard rank, and the more likely you are to earn from the prize pool.

Multiplier System

The multiplier system is what connects the desktop app to your Minecraft gameplay. The more prompts you can verifiably run each day, the higher your individual multiplier — and your faction's combined multiplier amplifies your vault value on the leaderboard.

Individual Multiplier

You get +0.1x for every 100 verified daily prompts across all your connected platforms.

2,000

3,000+

How Verification Works

  1. In the desktop app, set your daily prompt allowance per platform (e.g., "I can run 200 prompts/day on ChatGPT")
  2. The system enters a 24-hour verification period
  3. During verification, the app runs prompts to confirm you can meet your stated allowance
  4. If verified (90%+ completion), your multiplier activates
  5. If any day fails to reach 90%, verification resets and you must re-verify

Faction Multiplier

Your faction's combined multiplier is calculated from all online members:

Faction Multiplier = 1.0 + Σ(member multiplier - 1.0)
Example: 3 members running 1,000 (1.0x), 2,000 (2.0x), and 3,000 (3.0x) prompts/day
= 1.0 + (0.0 + 1.0 + 2.0) = 4.0x
Vault 10.00 pts × 4.0 = 40.00 pts effective

Important Rules

App Must Be Running

All online faction members must have the desktop app running, or the vault is LOCKED — you can't add or remove items.

Real-Time Updates

Opening or closing the app immediately changes your multiplier. Your faction could lose the #1 spot mid-cycle.

Free Accounts Count

ChatGPT Free, Claude Free, Gemini Free — they all contribute prompts toward your multiplier.

Vault Lock Enforcement

If any online member is missing the app or has no verified platform, the entire faction's vault chests are locked.

Raiding

Raiding is what keeps the game dynamic. Any faction can breach another faction's base using TNT cannons, steal their vault items, and climb the leaderboard.

How to Raid

  1. Scout enemy base locations and try to find their vault
  2. Build a TNT cannon outside (or at the edge of) their territory
  3. Time your attack — offline defenders can't fight back
  4. Fire TNT to breach walls and create an opening
  5. Enter and loot their vault chests
  6. Haul stolen items back to your own vault before retaliation

Raiding Rules

Offline raidingAllowed
TNT damage to claimsAllowed
Vault chest breaking (via TNT)Allowed
Block breaking by hand/tools in claimsDisabled
30-second combat tagAllowed

Defense Tips

  • Hide your vault — bury it deep underground, far from base entrance
  • Use obsidian — obsidian layers and water walls make TNT raids expensive
  • Spread your value — multiple small vaults minimize losses from any single raid
  • Stay online — a faction with members online deters most attackers
  • Maintain power — if your power drops below your claims, outer claims become raidable without TNT

Earning System

Real money earnings come from a prize pool funded by Columbus's AI visibility customers. 30% of customer revenue goes into the prize pool, which is distributed to top factions every 5 minutes.

How the Prize Pool Works

Columbus customers pay for AI visibility monitoring
30% of revenue goes to the prize pool
Prize pool is divided into 8,640 payout cycles per month (one every 5 minutes)
Top N factions earn from each cycle based on their leaderboard rank

Earning Slots

The number of factions that earn is based on the budget — roughly 1 slot per €1,000/month of budget. More Columbus customers means more earning slots, not richer individual slots.

Prize Distribution

When multiple slots exist, prizes are weighted by rank:

Example: 3 slots
#1: weight 3 → 50% of cycle prize
#2: weight 2 → 33% of cycle prize
#3: weight 1 → 17% of cycle prize

Monthly Earning Potential

If a faction holds a slot consistently:

Position
Per Month
Per Member (5p)
#1 (3-slot)
~€1,500
~€300
#2 (3-slot)
~€1,000
~€200
#3 (3-slot)
~€500
~€100
#1 (1-slot)
~€1,000
~€200

Competition means no faction holds #1 24/7. Actual earnings are spread across competing factions.

Cycle Timing

Cycles run at fixed 5-minute intervals (:00, :05, :10, :15...). Whoever is #1 at the end of the cycle receives the payout. Mid-cycle changes don't matter — only the final position counts.

Starter Kits

Each AI platform you connect in the desktop app unlocks an exclusive in-game starter kit the first time you authenticate.
